The Quest Classic Gold App Reviews

•*I wrote a guide on the forums about a basic tutorial, and I recommend reading it first to get the full effect of the game*•. I play this so much i kind of ignore my other apps... maybe thats not all bad.

I only have two problems with this game, levelling up, and really understanding where it is quests are wanting me to go. Unless you memorise where some places are you have to back track a lot. Other than that this is the best rpg on the App Store and I cant put it down!

Its a really good game and certainly worth the asking price, the only problem is I messed up my character class, hes a light armor guy who wears nothing but heavy armor, so the games a bit harder than it should be but whatever, still fantastic!

The graphics might seem very outdated, but it has charm of an old PC game from the 90s that shouldve come on a stack of 3 1/2 inch floppy disks. That being said, the gameplay is fun, and the graphics make it look deceptively boring. The price is more than fair for this 100+ hour game. I have been playing for about 3 months now and still have not beaten the main campaign. There are also 3 expansions included in the game as well. The game reminds me of Oblivion or Morrowind from recent years. If you like old school RPGs or want to get into it; this is the best game to start!

This is an amazing game with twists, objects, side quests along with main quest. Many options to play how you want and a system that has some depth to it. It is like a 2D Elder Scrolls or Skyrim game that is just as huge. Include the many expansions and this game has so much more to offer. I downloaded the Gold Version of the Quest which adds the 1st 3 expansions after just reading reviews. And all I can say is fully satisfied! I download tons of games both paid and free and The Quest Gold Edition is definitely one of my top 3 games, cant get enough! Download, you wont be disappointed! Plus if you get stuck, wiki the Quest walk through can get you out of a jam! Good Luck and have fun!!

I can honestly say that The Quest is one of the greatest games I have ever played! There is truly nothing like it out there on the App Store. Ive been sucked into this game for hours and have enjoyed every minute of it. I must admit it gets ridiculous with its add-ons, story wise and names, but their challenge is enough to keep you pushing on this game even after you beat the story. Which I might add takes some serious skill! Good luck finding an internet guide to get you past this games puzzles. Because they dont exist.

I have been playing this game for almost two years and I still havent beat the main quest! Very challenging yet extremely addictive. I recommend this game to anybody that enjoys a good dungeon-crawling, undead slashing, card playing, or walking across half a continent to complete a quest only to get lost!

This is by far one of the best games, if not the best game I have ever played. It beats mine craft, skyrim, final fantasy ( almost ) and just about everything else. I would have payed whatever the price tag was if I knew what I know now. This is the first thing I downloaded on my first phone! A very unique game

Is perfect. Ive been searching for a free-roaming RPG and dungeon crawler mix like Elder Scrolls for the longest time, and I finally stumbled upon this game. I was hesitant at first because of the old style and it being a mobile game I feared there wouldnt be much to explore and it would be a short experience. I was wrong in my assumptions! Its very lengthy (still havent gotten even close to beating it), has a huge variety of items, potions, weapons, armor and more to collect and upgrade, and the gameplay is amazing. 6 stars if I could! Thank you for a great game!

The Quest Gold combines mystery and wonder into a unique fantasy world, combining old-school graphics and modern game design to create a truly amazing game. An absolute must-have for any old-school rpg fan!

I mean it when I say that no other game on the AppStore even comes close to this game in depth, content, and play hours. I would pay $50 for this game. Original review: Best rpg on the AppStore, no contest. Like oblivion, but oldschool. Worth more than the asking price. Better than many console RPGs. Game is a true gem. Worth every freaking penny. Redshift, you guys are incredible. Keep up the awesome work, cant wait for the quest 2.

If you like a Morrowind-like game with Daggerfall-like graphics, this is the game for you. Beautifully made.

These developers are still faithfully maintaining this classic game - the mobile Elder Scrolls, basically. Buy it at full price.

The Quest was one of the first RPGs to hit the App Store and its still here! This is a story-driven, text-heavy RPG with an old school feel to it. Graphically, it looks like a 90s PC game. The retro vibe wont be for everyone but if you dont mind taking a "blast to the past," this is a really, really deep game with so many expansion packs that are still available in the App Store! This Gold version packages together the original Quest along with 3 expansions into a single IPA. Cant get any better than that!

Just like an old-styled Elder Scrolls game, but with more if thats possible! Ive been playing for over 2 years and still havent completed the game and all its expansions yet! I LOVE this game. The community and forums are great, plenty to do, and there are still expansions to be released soon! I cant wait! Download and give it a good try. You wont be disappointed, I promise!

Ive played dozens upon dozens of iPhone games and rarely take the time to write a review - but for the best of the best that deserve the praise, I want the developers to to be noticed for their genius. The Quest is probably the best iPhone game Ive played - and Ive played plenty! The freedom to explore (think of a smaller version of Elder Scrolls), the ability to customize your character as you level, the attention to detail (from the sound of your boots when walking on ice to the effects the weather has on your character when camping), etc. Everything this game does, it does right. My only complaint? Its that I still have to wait awhile for The Quest 2 to come out! Brilliant game, Redshift. You hit perfection with this one!
