German

Do "The Quest HD" in German then Ill buy it.

Awsome!

This is a great app and a great deal. The only question I have is does the gold version include the expansion mithral horde?

My favorite app

I keep coming back to this app. It is extremely deep with hours of play, excellent retro graphics & gameplay, and generally solid writing. Now if they could only match this with a similar game done in a Cyberpunk setting I would be in heaven. Thanks Redshift for providing a game loaded with hours of pure escapist fun!!!

Waiting for this Sale!!!

This is sale is just what Ive been waiting for! Ive tried the lite version and its wonderful, but the price is waaaay to high Even though its worth every buck you paid. The graph may not look very attracting but youll find it simply amazing when you actually playing it. The transition is very smooth, and this pack is worth lots of hours of fun. A must buy for hardcore players A minor issue: after this update, the intro video wont start even when I enable it, telling me ipod dont know about the format, well doesnt matter anyway, just a minor bug issue.

Ok but way too hard

I find that this app is fun but very hard and it becomes nearly impossible as soon as you start so it would be nice if you made a difficulty setting for new players.

The Best Game on the iPod!!

Amazing game! Like the Elder Scrolls for iPod. The graphics are alright and dont hinder gameplay. The controls are good, the story is great and the depth is the best part. Buy it, you wont regret it!

Get it NOW

The best game on the app store, youre missing a lot of great fun without it.

An immersive RPG

Ive played a lot of rpgs on pc (ultima 1-9, Elder Scrolls, Gothic 1-3) The Quest is very similar to Morrowind. This game creates a sense of atmosphere that makes you feel a part of the world which a good rpg will do. This is a great, huge game - I have finished the main quest and have just started the ice and fire island. This game is epic, fun and very customizable.

The quest gold

Fun

AWESOME!!!

It would be better if you could rewatch the intros to the expansions.

Great Game

For all you out there, dont quit. This game is AWESOME, even if it seems too hard in the beginning. With a rich plot, enriched gameplay, and many quests, this is my (hands down) favourite app in the App Store.

Great, but...

If you fight the smugglers from the thieves guild in a certain place (on a line between areas, I think) some will become invincible and make the main quest IMPOSSIBLE. Please help!

Epic

Pretty much the only game I play on my iPhone. Dont judge it after 5 minutes of playing it

elder scrolls

this game is really fun and pretty much the best game on my iPod it reminds me a lot of the first 2 elder scroll games and is really addicting. I love to collect all the different kinds of armor and weapons and i like how u guys put unique items in the expansions keep them coming

Must have game

Amazing game really fun but please in the options or something please ad a add-on list of what you have and need please.

Incredible Depth, Phenomenal Game

For hardcore RPG fans (especially old-school RPG fans) this game is an absolute must buy! I spent my first hour or so in the game generally lost... I almost quit! I am SO glad I didnt! There are no map markers to tell you where to go. There are no tutorials to make the game easier. Its just you and your gear, and a huge, often dangerous world to explore. There is a pretty good auto-mapping system in place which does keep you from getting lost if you pay attention to where youre going. There is always a lot to read - whether its a book youve picked up (of which there are many) or an NPC that youre having a conversation with. Many quests are only start if you say the right things in conversation. NPCs will react to everything about you - your reputation, your clothing, certain skills you have or dont have, whether you are "wanted," etc. The writing is generally excellent. There are some serious moral choices you must make - and the game is written so well that you feel genuinely concerned (and curious) about the outcome of your choices. There is a lot of sexual innuendo (although its well enough disguised that any young gamers would likely just not understand the references. For example, I took the company of a girl at "Flesh Delights" and ended up with some experience, some bonus HP, and a disease called "Warrt" which I had to find a potion to cure! There is a LOT of exploring. I have been playing for more hours than I can count and Im still finishing up the first large area (between the starting town and the first large city). There are tons of items - weapons and armor, alchemy materials which you can turn into potions, books that teach you skills, spells, increase attributes, etc. There are many different monsters - some that attack from range and run when you try to get close, some with magic spells that hurt like hell, some that hit like trucks. The coolest feature though has to be the complete and utter customizability. You should have some direction in creating your character (the preset classes are safe choices) but its really up to you. In an Oblivion-like way, you get automatic skill-ups when you level, but they are applied to the primary skills you used most during the level. For example, if youre a Mage, and you used mostly Attack Magic, you will get a skill-up in Attack Magic. You also get skill points to apply as you wish - but be aware that it takes 2 points to add a single skill-up to your secondary skills. Thus, make sure you choose your primary skills wisely! The graphics are not high-res, not 3d and not going to win any awards... But they do the job, and are filled with personality. Remember that everything in this game is hand-drawn. The game is based in a 2d grid (not real 3d) like many RPGs from the late 80s and 90s (I.e. Might and Magic I-V, Eye of the Behold I-III, etc). The sound and music are equally low in quality but high in personality, and again, get the job done. Overall, Im only somewhere between 5-10 hours in, and I cant get enough. For the first time in a long time, Im glued to my iPhone! This is an absolute MUST BUY for the hard-core RPG fans out there looking for a new world to get lost in. I bought it to fill down-time on an upcoming vacation, and I dont think I will have any problems filling time now :)

Love it

This is amazing

Why

I bought this then you come out with a HD version that I have to pay for even though I bought this? Please change that.

The Quest Gold

The game is great but please make Retina display support, its not so good as it could be with supporting 960x640.
